Readers will follow Cress, an ungifted Lunar and evil Queen Levana’s greatest spy. Trapped alone in a satellite since she was young, Cress would give anything to escape from her prison and visit Earth. Cress gets her chance when she crosses paths with Cinder. They begin to plot her escape and the destruction of Luna, but forces outside her control leave her stranded with Captain Carswell Thorne, a charming criminal and captain of Cinder’s ship. With their plans destroyed and their team separated, will Cinder and her team be able to stop Queen Levana from taking over Earth?
Also, Cress is slower than its fast paced, action packed siblings. The real action in this novel does not start until the book is half way through. If the slow start does not throw readers off, they will be in for a real treat as the action (and some violence) is upped and will launch readers’ interest to the next book.

Favorite Quote: “Maybe there isn’t such a thing as fate. Maybe it’s just the opportunities we’re given, and what we do with them. I’m beginning to think that maybe great, epic romances don’t just happen. We have to make them ourselves.”
